“Sorry”
Ensnarement can go both ways.
Originally, this image was to be a sheep’s head grappled by a wolf, and it magically became another Little Red Riding Hood motif. Peonies mean health. The female’s head becoming a bouquet wrapping for the flowers, and being given to the viewer by the wolf. The wolf’s neck being ensnarled just like the female’s neck symbolizes the question: “Who owns the problem?” The problem being owned by both in an enmeshment. Where does one start and the other end?
“Sorry” as the title, implies that the pain wasn’t intentional, and how one can beckon the pain onto themselves by the other.
